Join Our Summer Staff
Are you ready to spend the summer working with kids, playing sports, experiencing splash-tastic adventures and being a positive role model, all in a natural and beautiful environment that God has given us? Are ready to spend several weeks surrounded by the beauty of Camp Lackawanna and the Endless Mountains? Do you have the will to be challenged in ways you never have before? Then look no further and get ready to spend the summer of a lifetime at Camp Lackawanna. We have openings for the upcoming summer season for Camp Counselors, a Kitchen Aide, and a Program Coordinator.
Our staff will be hired to work both at Camp Lackawanna and Camp Johnsonburg in Blairstown, New Jersey. All staff will undergo the same basic two-week training course, which will include CPR/First Aid certification, education on child development, child safety standards training and child protection, games, team building, and more. Our staff are trained to the level required by the American Camping Association, an independent, non-profit body that accredits camps across the USA for adhering to the best practices in the industry.

CAMP COUNSELOR
The summer camp counselor will be responsible for all the campers that attend Camp Lackawanna. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Living in the cabin with campers and ensuring a healthy and safe environment and making sure campers feel included and have fun.

Supervising and guiding Campers in all aspects of Camp Life including morning wake-up, cabin clean-up, camper hygiene, meals, recreation, daily adventures, bible studies and evening activities.
