Camp Programs

Mini Camp

Grades 1-3

June 26-28

Mini Camp is a 3 day, 2 night camp that is perfect for our youngest campers. This session is designed for children who are first or second time campers or who are nervous about being away. They'll be with our well-trained counselors who most prefer to work with the littlest campers during summer. During their time at camp, mini campers will get to try a bit of everything we have to offer, and they'll have a blast!

Adventure Camp
Grades 6-12

June 26-July 1, July 10-15

Adventure Camp is our program for Junior & Senior High Campers. We will explore more challenging elements on the low ropes course, cook a meal over the fire, play field games, have daily bible study or worship, & so much more! Adventure campers can also expect to get plenty of time out on our beautiful site exploring the woods, learning outdoor adventure skills & making Camp Lackawanna their own. There will be plenty of time to swim in the pool & just hang out, too. Are you ready for an adventure?

Camp Olympics
Grades 2-12

July 17-22

Camp Olympics is all about friendly competition. We will have small and big competitions, from cabin clean up to biggest splash at the pool. It is truly anyone's game! How will your team do in the 2022 camp olympics? This camp isn't just about the competition--it's also about community. In addition to our bible studies and worships, we'll enjoy learning, trying new things, and playing together. Game on!

Night Owl
Grades 6-12

July 3-8

Enjoy God’s creation in the dark--with stargazing, worshiping around a campfire, glow in the dark night games, and much more! Campers will get to stay up later and sleep in later, as we adopt a schedule for the week that some teens just wish the whole world ran on. Experience your favorite activities during the day AND by the light of the moon--as well as Night Owl only activities that no other camp session gets to do. This awesome camp experience only happens one week this summer. Don't howl...just register!

More about the Lackawanna Experience

Now in our 60th year of programming, our summer camp has been defined by community, faith formation, and fun. More than just an exciting week, campers build the independence and resilience at camp that is needed to be successful in life. After 2+ years of "pandemic time," marked by masks, screens, and uncertainty, our camp program is the perfect thing for any kid looking to reclaim their identity or just get back out into the world again.

For all programs except Mini Camp, check-in is Sunday afternoon, and check-out is on Friday evenings.

Pricing

Summer camp has great value in the life of a child. Tiered pricing is intended to help families recognize how much a week at camp costs and then select the level of payment that is most appropriate for them. Every child will receive the exact same camp experience regardless of the tier that is chosen. Some need-based, additional financial assistance is available.
